The 27th Anniversary took place in 2026, during the Shattering of Ro expansion.

It added six (6) Tasks and a Raid!

However, there were no new items on the Anniversary (Commemorative Coin) Vendor.

These tasks do have to be done in order.

There is a LOT of zone hopping. so don't forget about click portals!

There is a LOT of zone-hopping involved in these quests! Don't forget your click portal items that can prove very useful and time saving... or at least reduce the number of zones you need to travel through!

A NOT SO SPEEDY DELIVERY (Solo)

1) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: You are looking for Wonto Pannche, who is on the north side of the inner circle (/waypoint 470, 860, -125).

Hail Wonto Pannche and follow along, or just try saying, "Free," to get this task.

Next, head over to near Bazaar and look for a Package (a box on the ground) near the tailoring building (/waypoint 160, 1435, -125).

2) GREAT DIVIDE: You are here to deliver the Package.

• Head to the area of /waypoint -5565, -2665, -455 (mid-east side of zone, near the caves), to find a tent.
• NOTE! Be ready for an ambush!
• NOTE! Spawned adds are generally equivalent to your current Player Level.
• Beside that tent you will see a drop off box. Give the Package to a drop off box (you will get the Package back).
• Once done you will be attacked by two (2) a coldain assassin and a frost giant mercenary (they can be rooted). Kill them.
• One (1) of them will drop a Torn Scrap Note. Loot it and read the Lore for a clue.

3) GREAT DIVIDE: You are looking to make the next delivery, namely to a mysterious figure.

• Head to the 'encampment' west of the coldain mines to find a mysterious figure (area of /waypoint -4025, -1900, 40).
  • NOTE! Be ready for another ambush!
  • NOTE! Spawned adds are generally equivalent to your current Player Level.
  • Hail a mysterious figure and follow along.
  • You will be attacked by two (2) a coldain assassin and a frost giant mercenary. Kill them.
  • Speak to a mysterious figure again.
• Next, head to the 'encampment southwest of the Kromrif fortress (/waypoint -3325, -1325, -145).
  • You will find Laveer Krass (aka a mysterious figure).
  • Hail Laveer Krass and follow along then give him the Package to finish up.

REWARDS INCLUDE: Music Box: Anthem of Norrath (placeable musical item) & ten (10) Commemorative Coin.

NOTE LEFT BEHIND (Solo)

1) GREAT DIVIDE: You are looking for Laveer Krass, who is southwest of the Kromrif fortress (/waypoint -3325, -1325, -145).

Hail Laveer Krass and follow along, or just try saying, 'Happening,' to get this task.

2) WESTERN WASTES: You are again looking for Laveer Krass, who to the southwest (area of /waypoint -1825, 2800, -10), by an unconscious Veeshan scout.

• Hail and follow along with Laveer Krass.
• You now need to kill five (5) MoB's with 'Veehsan expedition' in their name. Some are to the east by the ice structure (/waypoint -1470, 2065, -25) as well as other areas (there are 80-ish of them about the zone... such as near ice crystals).
• Loot three (3) a Ward Fragment, which are dropped by the 'Veehsan expedition' MoB's.
• Head back to Laveer Krass and give him the three (3) Ward Fragment.
• Hail Laveer Krass.

3) WESTERN WASTES: You now need to pursue the 'search party.'

• First, you need a location update in the area of /waypoint 1115, 2315, -55.
• Next, kill four (4) more 'Veehsan expedition' MoB's (wherever you can find them... there should be several in sight).
• Now head to the crystal formation at /waypoint 2130, 1835, -45, where you will see chief elder dragon and two (2) a dragon elder.
• Hail and follow along with chief elder dragon. You will get an Activation Device.
• NOTE! Be ready for an ambush!
• NOTE! Spawned adds are generally equivalent to your current Player Level.
• You now need to give the Activation Device to a crystal pylon (you will get it back). I found several around the crystal formation in the area of /waypoint 1355, -580, -20 (they are trackable).
• NOTE! The a crystal pylon can be hard to trade with... get a target then use the target ring as a guide on trading with them.
• You will be attacked by a Veeshan Expedition Leader. Kill it!
• Loot the Note Part.
• Once again, give the Activation Device to a crystal pylon (you will get it back), kill the a Veeshan Expedition Leader and loot another Note Part.
• For a third time, give the Activation Device to a crystal pylon (you will get it back), kill the a Veeshan Expedition Leader and loot another Note Part.

4) WESTERN WASTES: Head back chief elder dragon.

• Give the three (3) Note Part to chief elder dragon.
• Give the Activation Device to chief elder dragon.
• Hail and follow along with chief elder dragon.
• Answer the riddle. (Spoiler -- highlight to see the answer: Song).
• You will get A Page of the Piece.
• To finish up, head back to Laveer Krass and give him A Page of the Piece.

REWARDS INCLUDE: Gilded Clavicord (placeable item) & ten (10) Commemorative Coin.

LINGUISTIC LIBRETTO (Solo)

1) TOXXULIA FOREST: You are looking for Jharin Kevva, who is in a building in the Kerran Village (/waypoint -280, 2035, 25).

Hail Jharin Kevva and follow along, or just try saying, 'Insight,' to get this task.

Continue to follow along with Jharin Kevva for another update.

2) UNDERSHORE: You are here to do the following...

• Kill six (6) Shiliskin (any kind).
• You need two (2) Shiliskin Writing Sample. Since you have to kill six (6) shiliskin, you should get them as a drop.
• Or, find and pick up two (2) ground spawn Shiliskin Writing Sample.
• They look like a rolled up flag-like scroll. They are very hard to spot. I found one at /waypoint 390, -675, 45. It may be easier just to stand there and wait for the same one to respawn and pick it up again.
• NOTE: The April 2026 Patch added Resonant Ink to this quest. As you kill related MoB's it can be acquired as a drop. Loot one!

3) KEDGE KEEP: You are here to...

• Kill six (6) mermaids (any kind) (try the area of /waypoint -45, -235, -130).
• You need two (2) Mermaid Writing Sample. Since you have to kill six (6) mermaids, you should get them as a drop.
• Or, find and pick up two (2) ground spawn Mermaid Writing Sample.
• They look like a rolled up flag-like scroll. They are very hard to spot. I found one at /waypoint 25, -335, -105. It may be easier just to stand there and wait for the same one to respawn and pick it up again.

4) COBALT SCAR: You are here to acquire two (2) Othmir Writing Sample.

• If you are not KoS (Kill on Sight), it appears you can just ask for the two (2) Othmir Writing Samples. To do this, hail them and if they respond accordingly, follow along (keyword: 'writing sample').
• Or you can kill for them (they drop from the Othmir).
• Otherwise, find and pick up two (2) ground spawn Othmir Writing Sample.
• They look like a rolled up flag-like scroll. They are very hard to spot. I found one at /waypoint -745, -955, 115. It may be easier just to stand there and wait for the same one to respawn and pick it up again.

5) AQUIRE TWO ITEMS: You will need two (2) items.

• You will need a Quill. If you don't have one, you can buy it from Eric Rasumus in the Plane of Knowledge (/waypoint -320, 730, -90).
• If you did not acquire a Resonant Ink along the way, you reportedly can use a Writing Ink, instead (the original quest component, changed with the April 2026 Patch). If you don't have either one, you can acquire Writing Ink from other players, buy one in Bazaar, or go farm one up (they appear to be a random drop in a multitude of older zones, mostly pre-Terror of Luclin). You might also try going back and killing the quest-related MoB's to get a Resonant Ink.
• Or, if you have them in your Tradeskill Depot, you can go to a Banker or Summon a Banker (AA) and grab them.

6) TOXXULIA FOREST: Head back to Jharin Kevva.

• Hail Jharin Kevva and follow along.
• You will get a Copy of Ancient Lyrics (a non-tradeskill combine container).
• Combine the Writing Ink, Quill, two (2) Othmir Writing Samples, two (2) Shiliskin Writing Sample and the two (2) Mermaid Writing Sample inside the Copy of Ancient Lyrics.
  • This will make one (1) of three (3) items: Studied Ancient Lyrics; Well-Studied Ancient Lyrics; or an Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics.
    • Ideally you want the Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics in order to complete Achievement: 27th Anniversary Mystery.
    • NOTE: Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics serves no purpose other than as a needed quest item and as a special 'challenge item' to qualify for the Achievement: 27th Anniversary Mystery.
• After the combine you get spammed with Lore / Emotes.
  • Pay attention to the emotes you get!
  • These emotes will help guide you on what you need, if you did not get Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics.
  • If you did not get Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics, you can work on what you may need and then try again (do this quest again).
    • Completion of 'Cipher of Divine Language') from Planes of Power progression;
    • Language Skills (the more, the better);
    • Singing Skill, but it's not a big factor by any means... however, if you are not a Bard, perhaps swapping to a Bard Persona can provide that little boost you may need.
    • NOTE: Research does NOT apply to this process, even though one of the emotes seems to suggest that it does.
  • These noted factors will determine if you get Studied Ancient Lyrics; Well-Studied Ancient Lyrics; or Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics.
  • You CAN finish the task, with whichever version you get.
• Hail Jharin Kevva again.

7) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: Head to the top of the library to Grand Librarian Maelin (/waypoint 10, 1015, 390).

• Give the Studied Ancient Lyrics; Well-Studied Ancient Lyrics; or the Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics (whichever one you made... you will get it back) to Grand Librarian Maelin.
• Follow along with Grand Librarian Maelin.
• You will get a Maelin-Notated Ancient Lyrics.
• This will also complete the Achievement: 27th Anniversary Mystery, but only if you have the Expertly Studied Ancient Lyrics.
  • You can work on what you are missing (see above) and do this quest again to get the Achievement: 27th Anniversary Mystery.

8) TOXXULIA FOREST: Head back to Jharin Kevva.

To finish up, give the Maelin-Notated Ancient Lyrics to Jharin Kevva.

1) TOXXULIA FOREST: You are looking for Jharin Kevva, who is in a building in the Kerran Village (/waypoint -280, 2035, 25).

Hail Jharin Kevva and follow along, or just try saying, 'Legendary,' to get this task.

You will get Kevva's Jharin Signet.

2) PLANE OF KNOWLEDGE: You are looking for Pastseeker Rhondarra, who is on the upper level of book cases in the Library (/waypoint 120, 1050, 100).

Give the Kevva's Jharin Signet to Pastseeker Rhondarra and then follow along.

You will get Jharin's Pack.

3) CRYSTAL CAVERNS: You are looking for Lenik Gemborn, who is in the lower fortress (/waypoint -220, 185, -380).

• Say to Lenik Gemborn, 'Tell me your story,' and then follow along.
• Go kill 'Ry'Gorr' orcs (any kind) until you get a Ry'Gorr Toolbelt.
• Go back to Lenik Gemborn, give him the Ry'Gorr Toolbelt and then follow along.
• You will get Lenik's Story.

4) ESTATE OF UNREST: You are looking for Brinaghan the Reposed, who is in the basement of the house (/waypoint 465, 65, -35).

• Say to Brinaghan the Reposed, 'Tell me your story,' and then follow along.
• Head back up outside the house to look for four (4) Sorrow of the Tranquil flowers.
  • They look like daisies and are bit hard to spot. They seem to be primarily beside / near trees and in the hedges
  • I found some at: /waypoint 330, -45, 5; /waypoint 325, -140, 5; /waypoint 435, -255, 5; /waypoint 610, -130, 5; /waypoint 830, -195, 5; /waypoint 830, 145, 5; /waypoint 600, 280, 5; & /waypoint 600, 100, 5.
  • Go back to Brinaghan the Reposed and give her the four (4) Sorrow of the Tranquil.
  • You will get Brinaghan's Story.

5) BARINDU, THE HANGING GARDENS: You are looking for Kaelan Muris, who is outside a building to the north (/waypoint 370, -495, -120).

• Say to Kaelan Muris, 'Tell me your story,' and then follow along.
• Kill any four (4) MoB's in the general vicinity.
• Hail Kaelan Muris.
• You will get Kaelan's Story.

6) FIRIONA VIE: You are looking for Perris Stormwalker, who is by some ruins in the mid-north of the zone (/waypoint 1250, 480, -140).

• NOTE! Be ready for an ambush!
• NOTE!  The spawn add will be equivalent to your current Player Level, or higher.
• Say to Perris Stormwalker, 'Tell me your story,' and then follow along.
• Walk into the ruins behind Perris Stormwalker.
• You will be attacked by a wandering golem. Kill it.
• Hail Perris Stormwalker.
• You will get Perris' Story.

7) TOXXULIA FOREST: Head back to Jharin Kevva.

• Combine Lenik's Story, Brinaghan's Story, Kaelan's Story, and  Perris' Story inside the Jharin's Pack to make Full Jharin's Pack.
• To finish up, give the Full Jharin's Pack to Jharin Kevva.

REWARD INCLUDES: A Grand Organ of Hate (placeable item) and Ten (10) Commemorative Coin.

THE SOUND OF DISCORD (Solo)

1) KATTA CASTRUM: You are looking for Soundwright Kivvex, who is in the vendor area southeast of the center pyramid (/waypoint -755, -615, -105).

Hail Soundwright Kivvex and follow along, or just try saying, 'Stolen,' to get this task.

2) LOPING PLAINS: Be invisible! You are looking for the 'bandit camp,' which north of the Vendor area. The location update is at a campfire you will see there (/waypoint -285, -3500, 715).

• NOTE! Be ready for spawned adds!
• NOTE! These spawned adds are will equal to you or up to four (4) Levels higher than to your current Player Level.
• As you get to the campfire, a Shadowbark Bandit will spawn. Back away a bit and kill it. They will run away at low health.
• Repeat this process until you have spawned and killed five (5) Shadowbark Bandit.
• Loot five (5) Songbinder Resin & one (1) Bandit Note (you will need it later), which are both dropped by Shadowbark Bandit.

3) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Soundwright Kivvex.

Give the five (5) Songbinder Resin to Soundwright Kivvex and follow along.

4) THE GROUNDS: You are looking for Assistant Fexlin, who is on the dock at the pond to the east (/waypoint -85, -1940, -225).

• Give the Bandit Note to Assistant Fexlin and follow along.
• You will get a Harmonic Tuner.

5) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Soundwright Kivvex.

Give the Harmonic Tuner to Soundwright Kivvex and follow along.

6) FORTRESS MECHANOTUS: You are looking for Tinkerer Grundel, who is in the southeast (/waypoint -1090, -610, 405).

Hail Tinkerer Grundel and you will get a Dissonance Dampener.

Achievement 26th Anniversary Tasks

1) KATTA CASTRUM: You are looking for Soundwright Kivvex, who is in the vendor area southeast of the center pyramid (/waypoint -755, -615, -105).

Say to  Soundwright Kivvex 'Are you ready?' and follow along to get this task.

2) JAGGEDPINE FOREST: You are here to acquire twelve (12) items.

Kill a stonegrove elm (they are southwest section of the zone) until you have looted twelve (12) Prime Resonant Timber.

NOTE! They can also drop Diminished Resonant Timber and Balanced Resonant Timber.

3) LAVASTORM MOUNTAINS: You are here to acquire seven (7) items.

Kill a shattered stone cairn (located in the mid-west area) until you have looted seven (7) Pure Harmonic Alloy.

NOTE! They can also drop Balanced Harmonic Alloy and Unstable Harmonic Alloy.

4) STEAMFONT MOUNTAINS: You are looking for Chief Resonance Engineer Zivvo, who is in the most southern windmill in the mid-east (/waypoint -25, -545, 5).

Give him the seven (7) Pure Harmonic Alloy and the twelve (12) Prime Resonant Timber.

You will get a Modal Frame and a Harmonic Soundboard.

5) JAGGEDPINE FOREST: You are here to acquire three (3) items.

Kill a sapfeeder wasp (located across the river in the mid-east, /waypoint -415, -2155, -5) until you have looted three (3) Unrefined Superior Tonal Sap.

NOTE! They can also drop Unrefined Dull Tonal Sap and Unrefined Bright Tonal Sap.

6) SKYFIRE MOUNTAINS: You are here to acquire five (5) items.

Kill a blazeshard mephit (located in the mid-east, /waypoint -175, 2305, -150) until you have looted five (5) Crystalized Stabilizer.

NOTE! They can also drop Semi-Crystalized Stabilizer.

7) STEAMFONT MOUNTAINS: Head back to Chief Resonance Engineer Zivvo.

Give the three (3) Unrefined Superior Tonal Sap and the five (5) Crystalized Stabilizer to Chief Resonance Engineer Zivvo.

You will get a Songweave Bonding Agent.

8) KATTA CASTRUM: Head back to Soundwright Kivvex.

• Give the Harmonic Soundboard to Soundwright Kivvex.
• Give the Modal Frame to Soundwright Kivvex.
• NOTE! Be ready for spawned adds!
• NOTE! These spawned adds are will equal to or higher than to your current Player Level.
• Give the Songweave Bonding Agent to Soundwright Kivvex.
• Behind you will be Arphil, the Antiphon. (/waypoint -770, -570, -105).
• Walk up to and hail Arphil, the Antiphon.
• Arphil, the Antiphon will change into Arphil, the Dirgebringer and attack.
• Kill Arphil, the Dirgebringer.
• Go back and hail Soundwright Kivvex to finish up.

REWARD INCLUDES: Metamorph: Enchanted Lute (Familiar / Pet illusion) and Ten (10) Commemorative Coin.

GLAZE OF THE ICE DRAGON (RAID)

1) TIDES OF TIME: You are looking for Riain Windleaf, who is a bit down from the top floor (/waypoint -30, -25, 515).

This is a raid event that requires at least six (6) Players and has a three (3) day lock out.

Hail Riain Windleaf and follow along, or just try saying, "Sure," to get this raid ('Glaze of the Ice Dragon').

Say 'Ready' to zone in.

2) TIDES OF TIME: GLAZE OF THE ICE DRAGON (Instance): You are here to defeat Lady Vox.

Here is what to expect.

• WHAT TO KNOW:
  • This is a long raid of at least 45 to 90 minutes, depending on your raids DPS and how you approach it (i.e. pursue achievements or not, etc.).
  • Don't divide DPS...  focus DPS (/assist) on one (1) target at a time!
  • You will need at least four (4) to eight (8) durable tanks and dedicated healers.
  • You will need capable healers to cover the tanks and varied support healers for everyone else.
  • DPS is also good to have, to 'speed' up things a little.
  • All but the main tanks should remain behind and or beside Lady Vox, due to frontal attacks.
• START / PHASE ONE:
  • There will be three (3) waves of three (3) variant ice giants:
    • an ice giant priest can heal the other adds (mid-level HP);
      • Kill an ice giant priest first, so it can't heal other adds or Lady Vox (they can heal for Lady Vox 5% per heal).
    • an ice giant magus (low HP);
      • Kill an ice giant magus second;
    • an ice giant (major HP).
      • Kill this last.
• PHASE TWO: Lady Vox:
  • Lady Vox becomes active upon the death of the last ice giant (see above) of Phase One.
  • Lady Vox can dispell the tank (use focused heals and a strategic buff line up, such as Shadow buffs).
  • Lady Vox has frequent frontal attacks (all but the main tank need to stay to rear and / or sides).
    • 'Lady Vox begins casting 'Frost Flame.' (Frontal 3- tic DoT for 105K HP per tic).
    • 'Lady Vox begins casting Tail Lash.' (3-tic DoT for 96K HP per tic, with a 189K DD and -90% Melee Haste Slow).
    • 'Lady Vox begins to lift her tail, preparing to attack the intruders in front of her.' (Details?)
    • 'Lady Vox begins casting Dragon Roar.' (3-Tic DoT for 120,000 HP per tic that will also trigger 'Dragon Fear').
  • Lady Vox is not a belly caster but has high resists until debuffs are landed.
  • Lady Vox has an AoE that can temporarily charm pets.
  • Lady Vox can shield adds.
  • Lady Vox can fear Players ('Dragon Fear').
  • 'Lady Vox begins to retch black fog.' (Details?)
  • DPS Lady Vox and at 30% she will heal herself back to 100%, which starts the next phase.
• ​PHASE THREE:
  • Get back to DPS on Lady Vox.
  • Three (3) variant ice giants spawn at about 87%, 67%, 52%, 35%, 20% & 3%.
    • Kill the adds as they spawn, with priority of targets as noted above.
• Challenge Achievement #1:
  • Kill all the ice giant adds before finishing off Lady Vox.
    • Focus on killing adds every time they spawn, to include the final set of adds at 3% (don't off tank and burn).
• Challenge Achievement #2:
  • In one or more add waves, when an ice giant priest appears, allow it to heal Lady Vox at least five (5) times.
    • Don't automatically kill an ice giant priest, but keep track of when it has cast five (5) heals have landed on Lady Vox and then swap back to kill it.
      • NOTE: This one is all most automatic, otherwise, this is probably best done in Phase Three with the third set of adds (reportedly, this is when an ice giant priest actually starts to heal Lady Vox).
    • UNVERIFIED RUMOUR: If you allow the an ice giant priest to Heal Lady Vox back to 100%, it is said they will not respawn thereafter. Theoretically, this means only two (2) adds each wave after that.
      • If verified, this can be a purposely included strategy, to reduce the number of adds thereafter.
• Challenge Achievement #3:
  • "Allow ten Giants to be summoned once Lady Vox joins."
    • Eighteen (18) total adds appear (three each wave) after Lady Vox joins the fray.
    • It appears this challenge is basically automatic!
• WIN: Finish off Lady Vox for the win and open the chest for loot!
  • Any adds up upon her death will despawn.

REWARD INCLUDES: Loot appears to be re-purposed loot from the cancelled 2025 Frostfell Raid.

There will be...

• Two (2) of about three (3) variant back items (724 to 905 AC; 22K to 23K HP / Mana / Endurance; 14 to 46 Overcaps; Illusionary Spikes XXXI & Endless Discipline... which is a worn +35% Spell Duration for up to Level 135 Spells that last 24-Seconds or longer);
• Two (2) of eleven (11) variant Slot 19 Augs (46 to 54 AC; 470 AC/Mana/Endurance; +14 Overcaps; Varied Worn Focus effects).

Oddly, there are no Timeless Token or Commemorative Coin awarded.

BONUS LOOT: If you also complete Achievement: 27th Anniversary Raid Challenges, you will get a quest reward window that allows you to select from one of the eleven (11) Slot 19 Augs, as a personal award.
