PURIFIED SUNSHARD
aka Greater Corrupted Sunshards
This is a simple little quest is for a potentially useful little clicky, that you can slow undead with!
There are a series of solo tasks that intertwine.
The first is called "Minor Corrupted Sunshards" where you collect and turn in four (4) Lesser Corrupted Sunshards for a single Lesser Corrupted Sunshard.
The next is called "Lesser Corrupted Sunshards" where you collect and turn in four (4) Lesser Corrupted Sunshards for a single Corrupted Sunshard.
The next is called "Corrupted Sunshards" where you collect and turn in four (4) Corrupted Sunshards for a single Greater Corrupted Sunshard.
And the final task is called "Greater Corrupted Sunshards" where you collect and turn in four (4) Greater Corrupted Sunshards for the Purified Sunshard.
It appears the original intent was for player to repeatedly do the four-for-one turn-ins until they eventually earned the final award. That would require about 256 of the Minor Corrupted Sunshards (repeating that first task 64 times, then the next task 16 times and the next task 4 times before ultimately being able to do the final task!
Good news, however! I am going to tell you how to cut this down to just 5 tasks and 16 looted items!
This "clicky" takes 3 seconds to cast, has a 5-minute recast time. The effect only lasts up to 6 ticks. None the less, it can help aggro, somewhat, anyway.

THE QUEST
1) GORU'KAR MESA: Head to the mid-southwest corner of this zone (left from the Blightfire Moors zone line), where the bears are.
You will see a few undead spawning about this area. You are mostly after A Dusty Mummy or An Agitated Skeleton (both are grey cons at Level 75), rather than the "vampire" MOB's.
Simply set-up camp on the wall, pull them with a spell (bears will not assist them) and kill them.
Kill them until you have looted sixteen (16) Corrupted Sunshard (No trade, Weight 1.0) (doing this by-passes a load of tasks with the other versions of this item).

2) BUTCHERBLOCK MOUNTAINS: You are looking for Emissary Farith (Level 36).
He is at the Wayfarers camp.
Hail him and follow along, or just try saying "Obtain" or "Obtaining."
He will offer you the various "Sunshard" tasks.
Get the one called "Corrupted Sunshards."

3) Now give him four (one per slot) of the Corrupted Sunshard.
He will give you a Greater Corrupted Sunshard (No Trade, Weight 1.0).

4) Repeat the previous two steps (Steps 2 & 3) until you have four (4) Greater Corrupted Sunshard.

5) Speak to him again, but this time get the task called "Greater Corrupted Sunshards."

6) Now give him the four (4) Greater Corrupted Sunshard (one per slot) and he will give you the Purified Sunshard!
