EARRING OF THE SOLSTICE

This quest is more commonly known as the "Protection of the Cabbage."

It is, basically, less of a quest and more of a convoluted combine that can involves higher level trade skills and a significant amount of time. 

There is no simple way to organize this quest. I have therefore, set-up this quest page differently that my other quest pages (see #4, below).

I hope it is easier to follow than other on-line data I have seen on this quest.

These are the so-called "Gifts" as outlined in the 10 "Liber Brassica Felix" books (v 1 to v 10, sold in Fungus Grove by Rebecca Cabbageleaf).

2) CRAFTING: Believe it or not, all nine of these items combine into one little tiny earring and a spell!

Find a forge (anywhere) and combine all nine (9) items in the forge (Smithing 0, no fail).

You will get Xanthe's Earring of Nature (see top of page) and the Spell: Protection of the Cabbages (see top of page).

You may as well destroy the spell, as a Paladin can't use it (Druid only) and it is No Trade.

3) TRADE-OUT: In that a Paladin cannot use the earring either, you can now make a trade.

Head to the Fungus Grove and find Rebecca Cabbageleaf.

Give her Xanthe's Earring of Nature and she will give you the Earring of the Solstice (see above)!
