The Champion's Festival was first added in November 2023.

This is a seasonal event. It is an EverQuest 'celebration' of the release of EverQuest II (which was released in November 2004).

A new type of Achievement was added during the 26th Anniversary... 2025 Live Events (complete certain 2025 Holiday, Season and Anniversary Achievements... except collect sets), one (1) of which is from 2025 Champion's Festival (Achievement: Champion Festival: Into the Weave).

Download and unzip this file to the 'storyline' folder of your EverQuest directory to have access to a generic, simplified version of these quests, in game, via your Story Window (Alt N)! NOTE: This file can be updated in the event of typo corrections, errors and new events... so you may need a fresh re-download / re-install every so often.

QEYNOS CHAMPIONS' TALE (2023)

1) SHADEWEAVER'S THICKET: You are here to acquire five (5) Shadeweaver Tubers.

These are ground spawns. I found most of mine in the northeast (such as /waypoint 785, -2040).

NOTE: If you find one and do not feel like running around looking for more, just stay at the spot you find one... they respawn in about a minute.

2) WARSLIKS WOODS: You are here to acquire five (5) Warsliks Carrots.

These are ground spawns. They are hard to spot, due to the trees. I found them mostly the mid-east (after going around the bend into the zone, such as /waypoint -505, -180).

NOTE: If you find one and do not feel like running around looking for more, just stay at the spot you find one... they respawn in about a minute.

3) HIGHPASS HOLD: You are here to acquire five (5) Highpass Kelp.

These are ground spawns. They are underwater in the lake on the lower west side of the zone (area of /waypoint -485, 355, -80).

NOTE: If you find one and do not feel like running around looking for more, just stay at the spot you find one... they respawn in about a minute.

4) PLANE OF INNOVATION: You are here to acquire five (5) Innovation Mushrooms.

These are ground spawns. I went around to the right, from the zone in, such as /waypoint 880, 635).

NOTE: If you find one and do not feel like running around looking for more, just stay at the spot you find one... they respawn in about a minute.

5) GREAT DIVIDE: You are here to acquire five (5) Shardwurm Meat.

These drop from the 'Shardwurm' in the cave (follow the river south).

6) QEYNOS HILLS: You are looking for Balhalyne Treherth, who is by the guard shack on the east way, towards the south (/waypoint 325, -1100).

NOTE: If you see any ground spawns, you may want to pick them up. They are part of the collect set, noted below.

You are here to:

Hail Balhalyne Treherth and follow along, or just try saying, 'Chores' to get this task;
The first five (5) steps should automatically update, as you all ready acquired the items (above);
Now give Balhalyne Treherth the items that you collected in Steps 1 to 5, above;
Hail Balhalyne Treherth;
You should get five (5) Celebratory Meat Pie.
Head to the hut that is along the path in the middle of the zone to find Mira Sayer (/waypoint 1400, 300);
Give one (1) of the Celebratory Meat Pie to Mira Sayer.

7) NORTH QEYNOS: You are here to:

Find Shenro Kazpur, who is in the Ironforge building (/waypoint 260, 305);
Give one (1) of the Celebratory Meat Pie to Shenro Kazpur;
Find Ziska Ironforge, who is in a building to the northwest (/waypoint 55, 60);
Give one (1) of the Celebratory Meat Pie to Ziska Ironforge.

8) SOUTH QEYNOS: You are here to:

Find Fellesha Varshen who is inside the 'Bag n Barrel' in the north area (/waypoint 490, -310);
Give one (1) of the Celebratory Meat Pie to Fellesha Varshen;
Find Warehnn Awlne, who is in the 'Mermaid's Lure to the south (at the docks) (/waypoint -5, -40);
Give one (1) of the Celebratory Meat Pie to Warehnn Awlne.

9) QEYNOS HILLS: back to Balhalyne Treherth.

Hail Balhalyne Treherth to finish up.

You will get an Echoforged Enoxus Ornament. You can acquire more than one (1) of these by doing the quest again, as they are not Lore.

FREEPORT CHAMPIONS' TALE (2023)

1) FREEPORT SEWERS: Head to the mid-north area of the zone, to the southwest room.

You are here to pick up a ground spawn on top of of a bench (/waypoint 675, -1335), Brew Thirteen Mead.

2) EAST FREEPORT: Head to Key Tavern, which is north from the West Freeport zone line.

You are here to pick up a ground spawn on top of the bar (/waypoint 535, -160), Black Snake Fang Mead.

3) WEST FREEPORT: Head to the 'Hogcaller's Inn,' which is not too far from the main gates.

You are here to pick up a ground spawn on top of the bar (/waypoint 125, -645), Killer Zombie Ale.

4) COMMONLANDS: You are looking for Fellen Xalladyr, who is in the west building at the 'South Inn' (/waypoint -365, -1330).

You are here to do the following:

Hail and follow along with Fellen Xalladyr, or just try saying, 'Work' to get this task;
Continue to follow along with Fellen Xalladyr for an update;
Using the Killer Zombie Ale, do the trade / cancel trick (open a trade window then cancel the trade, with a Merc, a pet...) for an update;
Give the Killer Zombie Ale to Fellen Xalladyr for an update;
Follow along with Fellen Xalladyr for an update;
Using the Black Snake Fang Mead, do the trade / cancel trick (open a trade window then cancel the trade, with a Merc, a pet...) for an update;
Give the Black Snake Fang Mead to Fellen Xalladyr for an update;
Follow along with Fellen Xalladyr for an update;
Using the Brew Thirteen Mead, do the trade / cancel trick (open a trade window then cancel the trade, with a Merc, a pet...) for an update;
Give the Brew Thirteen Mead to Fellen Xalladyr for an update;
Follow along with Fellen Xalladyr for an update;
Fellen Xalladyr should have given you a Fellen Xalladyr's Tale Entry.

5) WEST FREEPORT: Head to the Freeport City Hall to find Tradesman Tulan (/waypoint 705, -1210).

Give the Fellen Xalladyr's Tale Entry to Tradesman Tulan.

6) COMMONLANDS: Head back to Fellen Xalladyr and hail him to finish up.

You will get an Echoforged Aeteok Ornament. You can acquire more than one (1) of these by doing the quest again, as they are not Lore.

EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE - INTO THE WEAVE (2025)

1) GORU'KAR MESA: You are looking for Colorful Chronoweave Chronicler, who is on the west side in the far north (/waypoint 1645, 1792, 105).

As a note, the entire 2025 Champion's Festival takes place in an instance that Colorful Chronoweave Chronicler gives (it's a 'master' task... the other tasks are a steps in the 'master' task).

Hail Colorful Chronoweave Chronicler and follow along or just say Perform to get this instance. The say 'Send' to zone into the instance.

This is a group task, but you can get it solo.

You will see Colorful Chronoweave Chronicler near where you zone in (/waypoint -200, -1615, 255). You can say 'Leave' to him at anytime to zone out.

NOTE: This group task does scale to Level.

NOTE: This is a 6-Hour instance. Levitation and Invisible will prove very handy here.

NOTE: You have to do all three (3) of the other tasks within that 6-Hour time limit, in order to complete this 'master' task.

!!!WARNING!!! Avoid aggro on wolves and bears! If you do get aggro, don't kill them if you can avoid it (drop aggro). If you don't, Holly Windstalker will aggro and attack you, even from clear across the zone. She has a short respawn timer, so don't fret about killing her if you have to.

COLLECTS: The Collects set spawns / drops in this instance, but is not a required element of this group task.

2) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: Complete the task from Scout Melinda, 'A Basket Full of Hisses.'

3) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: Complete the task from Holly Windstalker, 'Rumors of a Red Hood.'

4) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: Complete the task from Beauregard, 'Lost Little Loves.'

5) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: Hail Colorful Chronoweave Chronicler to finish up.

This should complete Achievement: Champion's Festival: Into the Weave.

REWARD: Blue Ribbon Bovoch Familiar or Chocolate Bovoch Familiar (see top of page). You have to pick one, you don't get both. Don't fret, however, they are heirloom, so you can do the event on an Alt Character and get the other.

A BASKET FULL OF HISSES (2025)

1) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: You are looking for Scout Melinda, who is at the Wayfarer tents near the docks (/waypoint 1065, 1515).

Hail Scout Melinda and follow along, or just try saying, 'Gather' to get this task.

2) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: You are here to:

Kill twenty (20) a shore basilisk and / or an ancient anaconda.
I found the northeast area on the southside of the river, the best area for this.
Upon the 20th kill, you will get a Yellow Sack of Reptile Skins.
Take the Yellow Sack of Reptile Skins back to Scout Melinda to finish up.

Reward: Six (6) Kander's Adventurous Ale (stat drink).

RUMORS OF A RED HOOD (2025)

1) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: You are looking for Holly Windstalker, who is on the northeast up on the precipice near the waterfall (/waypoint 630, -1110, 255).

Hail Holly Windstalker and follow along, or just try saying, 'Pestilence' to get this task.

2) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: You are here to:

For a location update (area of /waypoint 1495, -485, 85);
Kill seven (7) a red gilled reishi;
NOTE: There are some outside the cave, but to avoid bears, I found it easier to kill the ones in the cave (they are social aggro, but you can tag them from a tunnel and they do not aggro the bears);
Kill three (3) a red gilled shrieker (also in the cave as just noted above);
BEWARE!: One (1) a red gilled shrieker will spawn for each Character in your group that has the quest, so be ready for as many as six (6) a red gilled shrieker on each location.
After the last kill, you will get a Little Red Hood (check your bags).
Take the Little Red Hood back to finish up.

Reward: Six (6) Kander's Adventurous Ale (stat drink).

LOST LITTLE LOVES (2025)

1) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: You are looking for Beauregard, who is in the mid-south (/waypoint -1655, -425, 255).

Hail Beauregard and follow along, or just try saying, 'Find Them' to get this task.

You will get a Bovoch Collar (click to 'Try to attach the collar to the young bovoch').

2) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: You are here to:

NOTE: Roaming MoB's can and will aggro, so be wary!
WARNING!: If you do this with an actual group, you can and will get a set of spawns for each Character with the quest when you hit the location update spots noted below. To avoid this, stop short of the location update area and send in one Character at a time and pull the adds to the group.
Get a location update (area of /waypoint -1155, -260, 265);
Kill the a vitrik hunter and / or a vitrik slaver that spawn, then use the Bovoch Collar on a young bovoch;
Get a location update (area of /waypoint -90, -455, 255);
Kill the a vitrik hunter and / or a vitrik slaver that spawn, then use the Bovoch Collar on a young bovoch;
Get a location update (area of /waypoint -520, 285, 85);
Kill the a vitrik hunter and / or a vitrik slaver that spawn, then use the Bovoch Collar on a young bovoch;
After the 3rd capture, you will get a Cage of Young Bovoch.
Take the Cage of Young Bovoch back to Beauregard to finish up.

Reward: Six (6) Kander's Adventurous Ale (stat drink).

ECHOFORGED CRACKED BONE FRAGMENTS (2023 Collect Set / Achievement)

1) QEYNOS HILLS: You are here to find and collect (click) the following nine (9) ground spawn collect items:

Echo Cracked Barbarian Bone;
Echo Cracked Dwarf Bone;
Echo Cracked Erudite Bone;
Echo Cracked Gnoll Bone;
Echo Cracked Froglok Bone;
Echo Cracked Half Elf Bone;
Echo Cracked Halfling Bone;
Echo Cracked High Elf Bone;
Echo Cracked Wood Elf Bone.

They are all over the zone but seemed most of them were in the south part of the zone, so don't forget about the Spirit of the Lost (collect finder), if you have one.

2) COMMONLANDS: You are here to find and collect (click) the following nine (9) ground spawn collect items:

Echo Cracked Dark Elf Bone;
Echo Cracked Gnome Bone;
Echo Cracked Human Bone;
Echo Cracked Iksar Bone;
Echo Cracked Kerra Bone;
Echo Cracked Ogre Bone;
Echo Cracked Orc Bone;
Echo Cracked Ratonga Bone;
Echo Cracked Troll Bone.

They can be anywhere in the main part of the zone. It's a big zone, so don't forget about the Spirit of the Lost (collect finder), if you have one.

3) FINISH UP: Once you have all eighteen (18) collect items, and have collected them, you should finish the Achievement Echoforged Cracked Bone Fragments.

HUNT FOR THE PAST (NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE) (2025 Collect Set / Achievement)

1) NEDARIA'S LANDING: EXPLORING THE CHRONOWEAVE: You are here to find and collect (click) the following eight (8) items. I found then primarily around the edges of the zone and waterways, hidden by trees and rocks.

This is an instanced zone (see here).

Gnoll Pup Doll (Ground Spawn);
Centaur Courser Doll (Ground Spawn);
Whiskered Bat Doll (dropped);
Minotaur Guard Doll (Ground Spawn);
Lava Beetle Doll (dropped);
Desert Asp Doll (dropped);
Isle Goblin Warrior Doll (Ground Spawn);
Guk Basilisk Doll (dropped);

The Spirit of the Lost (collect finder) can be handy here, if you have one.
