QUEST SHORTCUT
1) Start the quest in Shadeweavers Thicket on Luclin.
Zone in from Paludal Caverns and you will find some rocks just outside the tunnel where Lesser Shade (Level 3) MOB's spawn.
Kill them until you get a at least eight (8) Shadling Silk (Weight 0.0).
2) Now use two (2) of the Shadling Silk in a sewing kit -- or a loom -- to make a Shade Silk Thread (Weight 0.1).
You will need to make at least four (4) of them.

3) Then use three (3) Shade Silk Threads to make one (1) Shade Silk Cord (Weight 0.1).

4) Once you have 1 Shade Silk Cord and 1 Shade Silk Thread, zone to Shar Vahl and then head to to Hollowshade Moor.
In Hollowshade Moor go left around the bend and you will see Owlbears (they vary from Level 13 to Level 32).
Kill Owlbears until you get at least one (1) Perfect Owlbear Pelt (Weight 3.5).
Owlbears can also be found in Grimling Forest and Paludal Caverns -- but this is the best place to find them in numbers.
5) Now zone to Grimling Forest and then to Tenebrous Mountains.
As you zone in to Tenebrous hang around the tunnel there.
A Grimling Runner (Level 34 to 36) spawns every 90 minutes. You have to kill him and get the Grimling Runner Pouch (Lore, No Drop, Weight 1.5) that he drops.

6) Now head over to Katta Castellum.
As you zone into Katta, you will see a big building on your right. Rallic Aristos (NPC) is in that building. Find him.
Once you find him, make sure he con's indifferent or better to you. Otherwise, the quest will fail.
If he is indifferent or higher -- give Rallic the Grimling Runner Pouch and he will give you the Rallic Pack Pattern (Lore, Weight 0.1).
If he is less than indifferent, you will have to figure oput how to work on faction for him (unverified: kill in Sanctus Seru).
7) Put the Rallic Pack Pattern, Shade Silk Cord, Shade Silk Cord and the Perfect Owlbear Pelt in a tailoring kit or loom.
Combine to make yourself a Rallic Pack!
This is trivial at Tailoring 15.
