Anniversary: EverQuest was launched March 16, 1999 to celebrate the anniversary of EverQuest. Anniversary Events are usually available around mid-March to as late as mid-May of each year. They are released in two parts, Modern (14th Anniversary and forwards) and Legacy (5th to 13th Anniversary, to include Fabled spawns). 

Appreciation achievements (Summer & Fall) correspond with the noted seasons. If any are added, they are generally granted awarded for simply for logging in during the advertised time span.

This is announced in advance, so watch for such announcements. However, there have been no 'Appreciation' offerings since 2019... but there have been other log in bonuses with no achievements attached.

Brew Day: Brew day corresponds with St. Patrick's Day. Any events are usually available for a short time around that time, each year.

Champions' Festival (aka EQII: Champions' Festival) is a seasonal event in November. It is an EQ1 'celebration' of the EQ2 anniversary (which was released November 2004).

Bristlebane Day corresponds with April Fools Day. Any related events are usually available around that time, with a couple only on April 1st.

Erollisi Day corresponds with Valentines Day. Any related events are usually available for a short time around February 14th of each year.

Feast of Giving corresponds with the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Frostfell corresponds with Christmas / Hanukkah. Any related events are usually available around December / January of each year.

Hardcore Heritage generally corresponds with early Summer. Any related events are usually available around May / June of each year.

Karana: Tempest Festival is to celebrate 'Karana's life-giving blessings of rain.' These events are normally available around May / June of every year.

Lantern Festival (New Year Celebration) events are usually available around December / January of each year.

Living Legacy generally corresponds with mid-Summer. Any related events are usually available around July / August of each year. Currently, there are no achievements for these events.

Nights of the Dead corresponds with Halloween. Any related events are usually available around October / November of each year.

Raid, Raid, Raid: There are other events that happen between June and December as well, but aren't really attached to a holiday or season, such as Death, Death, Death (a Group Event); Giants, Giants, Giants (Raid event); and Dragons, Dragons, Dragons (Raid Event). Only Death, Death, Death (a Group Event) has any associated achievements.

Rathe Day corresponds with Earth Day and the initial events were in 2024. They are normally available every April.

Scorched Sky Celebration events started in 2022 and are usually available around June / July of every year. They are a celebration of the 'cleansing power of flame.'

Stomples Day corresponds with Easter. Any related events are usually available for a short time, around Easter.

Stone Cold Summer generally corresponds with Summer. Any related events are usually available around August / September of each year.

Year of Darkpaw was a year long Celebration, in 2024, of the 25th Anniversary of EverQuest, that had special events and offerings every Month. After 2024, they re-appear during anniversary events.

Earn the two (2) titles from "Rumor has It..." & "Ferocious Feralings" missions. To acquire the special title from "Ferocious Feralings" mission, you have to be in the zone; clear the water of MOB's (near the docks, to avoid extra aggro); one person click the pie on the Deputy; aggro the Feraling in the water with no damage (so it doesn't summon); when it splits in two, pull it out of the water and kill them both ASAP, to get the special title. In the "Rumor Has It..." mission, you need to give a Water Flask to sixteen (16) "a thirsty madman" in the zone, and then kill them after they turn into "an enraged madman." Once done, Atraydees, Prophet of the Dunes will spawn in the southeast tower and you have to go kill him as well, to get the special title.

Titles, "Feraling Feeder" and "Prophet of the Dunes;" Ring of the Ancients (a wrist item with an unlimited charge shrink click on it); and Sweetcookie's Special Pie (a 50-charge click item to throw pies at other players and turns them into a Feraling (aka Girplan).

14th Anniversary Tasks

Complete five (5) 14th Anniversary quests / missions (and / or the optional sub-steps). You, or someone else, must first complete the solo task, "Ogres At the Gates" in order to request the group mission, "Big Gnomes, Big Problems." In "Big Gnomes, Big Problems," you may notice the huge amount of Hit points you have. A mercenary cleric will not be able to heal you properly  so a real cleric is needed. In the "Evil Eye Operative" mission, there are six (6) other NPC's you can rescue to increase the number of chest reward options at the end. "Piestro's Day Off" is a monster mission. "Surviving Xmiticzin" involves solving puzzles to progress to the end. There are two (2) versions of the last mission... "To Thine Own Creator be True," or "To Thine Own Creator be False." You only need to do one of them for this achievement.

All missions award items at the end (chest loot). Depending on the mission, they include items like Blue Stone of Power (aug); Red Stone of Power (aug); Green Stone of Power (aug); Yellow Stone of Power (aug); or a White Stone of Power (aug). 

NOTE: These are all lore group augs; Jenrenee's Poison (a clicky Poison); Marcy's Shroud (illusion item); Wondrous' Lollipop (run speed clicky); Zavitar's Ale of Intimidation (a "grow" clicky); Metamorph Totem: Poisoned Rat (pet illusion or a familiar, if no pet); Polymorph Wand: Silver Gnomework (illusion); Unstable Clockwork Launcher (a click swarm pet that explodes); and / or Vice Trap (clicky DoT trap), among other 95-plus required gear.

Acquire at least five (5) of the six (6) special items from the 15th Anniversary solo task and / or missions. (1 per Mission): "Bottled Essence of Vex" (an unlimited charge 20K clicky AoE on up to 4 MOB's) is acquired in the mission, "A Ranger's Tale," by not telling the NPC to use the bow on the dragon. The "Miniature Horn of Unity" (a group unlimited charge buff clicky that temporarily adds +200 Regeneration to Mana / Endurance / Hit Points, +600 to Damage Shield & +2K to Spell-Damage Shield) is chest loot from the "Defending Knowledge" mission. It only drops if no MOB's made it to the Plane of Knowledge (you killed them all). "Diplomatic Papers" (1 per mission) (an unlimited charge clicky buff that mitigates 25% Spell & Melee Damage, up to a maximum of 50K for each) is from the "What Happens in Neriak..." mission. It drops off Ambassador Rylan after you betray and kill him (by giving the quest items to Denat C'Luzz). "Jimothy Junior" (a familiar) is from the "Magically Delicious" task, and only drops if you give the quest items to Magahee Thunderwood, one at a time, instead of Bemienn Ginrain. The Wee'er Harvester (an unlimited charge Summon Food clicky); and / or Bigger Belt of the River (and unlimited Summon Drink clicky), are both possible drops from the "Sprucing Up Shakey" mission (they don't always drop and you only need one of them for this achievement). They are found in the "untilled rocky soil" mounds that appear in the farm (field) at the end of the mission (click the "Enchanted Crystal Harvester" on as many as possible, before it breaks, in hopes of finding one of these items).

Acquire the seven "special" items from the 16th Anniversary solo task and missions. In the "Liquid Courage" mission, after 70-plus kills, the "Golden Helm of Rallos Zek" (Placeable personal trophy item adds 75AC / 500 HP / Mana / Endurance) is randomly given to a player who does not already have one. In the "Cleansing the Grounds" mission, the "Cleansing Rod" (an unlimited charge item that cures 20 Poison / Disease counters) by repeatedly clicking the "Dubious Potion" potion except in the lake, until they get it. In the "Dead Dragons" mission, all of the NPC's must survive. Once at the last step, one player can hail "a mercenary," and follow along, to get the "Necromantic Dragon Bone" (a unlimited charge 22K Direct Damage clicky, that returns 50% of that damage to you as a heal / HP).  In the "Korucust's Royal Pain" mission, one player can forage for "Key Teeth" (a tradable item that look like metal shards) and combine it with a "Key Shaft" (trash drop) inside the "Operative Skeleton Key Mold" (given by Korucust). This makes "Korucust's Stash Key" that can open the bonus chest for the "Sarnak Seneschal Mask" (illusion item). In the mission, "Pirates of Timorous Deep, "Captain Turek" must be defeated without being hit by the cannonball effect (move out of auras). If so, he drops a "Treasure Map" that, when clicked, will lead to a bonus chest that contains a "Shimmering Black Pearl." In the task, Belle of the Ball," before handing in the "Sticky Marshmallow Goo," head to Crescent Reach and use it on 25 rabbits, within five (5) minutes to get the Metamorph Totem: Speckled Hare (Pet illusion, or a familiar if you don't have a pet). Lastly, in the "Pub Crawl" task, upon reaching the step to hail Galdorin Visigoth in Abysmal Sea.. don't! Instead, wait until he sings his song. After he sings each of the six verses, immediately sing them back to him (in close proximity, in /say with him targeted... pre-set hot keys are necessary, as you have about 3 seconds to do this after each line). If you mess up, you can try again in about 10-minutes when he sings the song again. Succeed and he will give you a "Drunkard's Stein" (unlimited charge instant gate click to the Plane of Knowledge) out of appreciation. Additionally, an unlimited number of players can be task added in and out to do this, so long as the mission has not expired..

In the "Fish Eyes in the Dark" task, acquire & combine seven (7) "Pile of Bones" in a Fly Making Bench, to create "The Bone Rod" (7% Fishing Bonus fishing pole). To get the "Deep Caverns Collector's Case" (44-slot Collects-only bag), complete the "Pieces is Pieces" quest twice. To get the "Lost Wayfarer's Tent" (a personal tribute trophy that grants 200 AC; +12 Overcaps; 3K Endurance / Mana / HP; +90 Spell Damage; +50 Heal Amount; +5 Man regen & +5 Clairvoyance), loot the six different drops in the "Lost but Not Forgotten" mini-raid and combine them in a Loom. In the "A Formal Dinner Party" mission, the murderer... and the room they committed the murder in... must be identified correctly on the first try. This will spawn a chest that contains "Red Berry Paste," which you give to "a batling" in Dreadspire (the regular zone) to get an "Extruded Black Pearl" (60 AC aug).
